Do membranes form only the outer wrapping of cells?
Lipid membranes do not form only the outer cover of cells. Cell organelles, like the Golgi complex, mitochondria, chloroplasts, lysosomes, the endoplasmic reticula and the nucleus, are delimited by membranes too.
