Nonverbal communication-ethics and persuasion

Segrin advances that 'non-verbal behaviors are as powerful, in some situations more powerful, than some of the message strategies which have been studied in producing compliance from others' (Seiter and Gass 165). Do you agree that non-verbal persuasion can be more efficient in gaining compliance than the words used to influence? Give at least one, scholarly outside source to support your opinion.

Make a paper detailing the significance of ethical behavior and its importance in persuasion. Define at least two ethical theories in your paper, and explore the impact which ethical practices have on persuasion. You might select to examine a present event issue to describe your view-points.

The paper should be three to five pages in length. Use at least three scholarly resources found in the Ashford Online Library to support your claims and sub-claims. The paper should be formatted according to the APA style, and all resources should be properly cited in text and also the reference page.
