To fully understand non-wage issues, pretend to request a meeting with a human resources professional at an organization with which you are familiar.
During your interview, discuss the importance of Military, Maternity, and Personal Leave, Daily Work Schedules, and Overtime Premiums for the company and ask about the challenges the company encounters in establishing and managing associated policies and procedures. Include a few questions on trends in the marketplace and what competitive pressures the executive believes are affecting any of the issues listed above. Be sure to ask if labor contracts have influenced current benefit trends at the company.
