Non living vs. Living matter
As is clear from above account the energy of matter resides in its chemical organization. For instance when the wax of an ignited candle burns with the help of atmospheric oxygen, it is completely disorganized into carbon monoxide gas, releasing energy which gives light Conversely, if an active chemical system is capable o obtaining matter from its environment and utilizing the energy of this matter to make good its energy loss or entropy, it shall establish an equilibrium and survive, Such a chemical system is called an open system Centrality an actives system which cannot restore its energy loss from environment and hence becomes disorganized like the wax of a candle is a closed system ,The living matter protoplasm is not only the most highly organized and most compiles, but also the most actives chemical system of Nature with maximum its organization by continuously obtaining chemical energy from its environment in the form of matter find or in other words, by increasing the entropy of the environment No nonliving chemical system howsoever active it may via can thus recap its energy loss from the environment, and that is the big difference between the living and nonliving matter upon our earth.
