Scenario - since their humble beginnings in 1999, NPower has been growing at a rapid pace. Last year, their performance way exceeded all expectations. They now have approximately $1 million that they would like to re-invest into a technology to improve their organization and better serve their not-for-profit clients.
You have been asked to evaluate the implementation of a new technology at NPower. NPower is a real organization - check out their website. We are simply using them for this project - they are not associated with Kaplan, nor have they asked for our assistance with their technology needs. NPower's business plan is available in DocSharing or online.
Deliverable - Your deliverable is an assessment of the companies/products that offer this technology. Begin researching their availability, features, market niche, cost, etc. Be sure to look at both technical and management-oriented aspects. Your presentation will primarily consist of a Word Document that follows APA formatting. Visio Diagrams, Presentations, etc. or any combination may also be included but should be in a format presentable to management. An Executive Summary (1-2 pages in length) must be included.
