Neither b nor c may cross the membrane because the membrane

A rigid sample cell (with constant total volume) is divided by a Flexible, semipermeable membrane into two initial volumes, Vi1 and Vi2 . Both volumes are filled with solvent A, which flows freely across the membrane. Then nB moles of solute B are added to volume 1 and nC moles of a different solute C to volume 2, at some constant temperature T. Neither B nor C may cross the membrane. Because the membrane is Flexible, equilibrium is achieved when the pressures on both sides of the membrane are equal. What is the Final value V f 1 of volume 1?
