Discuss a time when you were rejected. This time when you were rejected should be something that was emotionally upsetting to you because the time you were rejected had important meaning to you. Reflecting on the time you were rejected discussed in the preceding prompt, describe the feelings you experienced from being rejected. (These feelings can be compared to a group member’s feelings if they are asked to leave a group that is important to them.) Do you believe that you have appropriately addressed or gotten over your “negative” emotions about being rejected? What do you think assisted you in letting them go, if you believe you did? If you believe you haven’t yet let those “negative” emotions go, what would be some strategies you could use to let them go?
