Assignment -
Need to design an electrical machine and analyse it in the FEMM software.
The machine to be designed is as follows:
Design of a 0.25kW, 1380 rev/min, 415V, star connected, 50Hz, three-phase, 4- pole, squirrel-cage induction motor.
The machine will need to be designed in CAD first and then can be imported in FEMM to do the analysis.
The above machine is an example from a book (Design of small electrical machines by Hamdi E S) and has the design solution to the above problem. You can provide with the solution if you cannot access it.
