For this assignment, focus on the group of students in your Program of Study.
Create a classroom overview that will be used at the beginning of the school year with parents/guardians and students. You may make a newsletter, pamphlet, or mock-up of your webpage on the school website. Be creative, but include the following:
Introduce yourself, including contact information
Explain your classroom engagement and management plan with examples of:
• Procedures
• Rules and consequences
• Reward system or not
• Classroom expectations
• What students will be learning and how they will be graded
• Your communication with parents/guardians with consideration of various methods
• A parents/guardian page to help build a relationship between them and you.
