In doing so, ensure you first take a stance on the issue (For example, I believe developed nations take advantage of developing nations.... Or .... Through investment abroad citizens of developing nations enjoy an increased standard of living...). After clearly stating how you feel about the given issue, then support your opinion with examples and a discussion that supports your stated point of view throughout the remainder of the essay. Through portraying your point of view, your intent is to persuade the reader to understand and support your position, as would take place in a debate for example. This is not to be a research paper (as I am seeking your thoughts) thus APA formatting to include the citing of sources is not required.
