Title: Initial Project Assessment

The first phase of the project is the project initiation phase. During this phase, you will conduct an assessment of the selected project. You will provide high-level project objectives, the scope, and your role as the project manager.

Create the following deliverables for this phase:

1. Project Charter document

The document should include the following sections:

  1. Project Objective: Describe what the project will accomplish.

  3. Project Assumptions and Constraints:Identify the assumptions and items that must be in place or that could hinder the project.

  6. Broad-level Cost Estimate: Identify the overall project cost for team resources,specific purchases or services. In addition,include details of who will be funding the project. 

2. Stakeholder Analysis Document and Scope Statement

Using the project charter document as an input, perform stakeholder analysis to identify the stakeholders and analyze their level of interest,expectations, importance, and influence on the project's success. In addition, create a scopestatement based on inputs from the project charterdocument.

3. Project Proposal Presentation

Present your project charter as a project proposal to the sponsor-your online instructor-in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. The presentation should include content on why the selected project idea should be approved and how different stakeholders will benefit from the project.

  • Ensure that you have correctly submitted your project charter, scope statement, and stakeholder analysis in Word document.
  • Submit the high-level milestone in Microsoft Project.
  • Submit your project proposal in PowerPoint presentation.
  • Each section of the project charter should start on a separate page and should include a section header.
