You have been asked to deliver a speech to the United Nations highlighting the accomplishments of a person of color, woman, or someone from an underrepresented group. E-mail the name of your historic individual to your instructor to obtain approval prior to beginning work on your speech. Summarize and analyze the individual’s accomplishments and legacy. Your speech must communicate a purpose. In other words, why are you delivering a speech about this individual to the United Nations? What do you want the U.N. members to learn? Do not include explicit answers to those questions in your speech. The answers should be seamlessly interwoven into the fabric of your speech. Your speech should be 3-5 pages in length.
Must include a reference page of at least 2 -3 U.S. scholar references. Instructor will look up references to verify.
