NATURE AND CATEGORIZATION OF LAW:

Here the term "law" has no consigned meaning.  It is utilized in a variety of senses.  Nonetheless different writers have bond to explain the term there, no usually acceptable explanation has been given. Dissimilar writers explain the term law from different points of view.  Furthermore the study of law is referred to as jurisprudence or legal philosophy.

Corresponding to Hart Law is a coercive instrument for regulating social behaviour.  There law has also been justified as a command backed through sanctions.  However these two explanations of the term law presuppose the existence of a sovereign that prescribes or originated the commands and enforces sanctions that is not essentially the case.

Corresponding to Salmond, law consists of a body of principles acknowledged and applied through the state in the administration of justice.  Law has also been justified as a album of binding rules of human conduct prescribed through human beings for obedience of human beings.  Unavoidably, hence law implies rules or principles enforced through courts of law.  Rules of law are binding thus differ from other rules or regulations.  Further rules of law are certain.
