Problem
The audit report is the one and only avenue through which auditors can communicate with the company's investors. There are no other communications, emails, information that go from auditor directly to the investor. That may seem crazy, especially because the auditors are doing the whole audit for those exact investors.
Assume you've got some money to invest and you are reading through the financial statements of a company, including the audit report, trying to decide whether to invest your money. Name one thing that you would want the auditors to tell you related to the company and why.
