Medical information technology has the potential to improve accessibility with proposed diabetes-related therapies and outcome measurements. The Diabetes Register is a searchable list of all patients with certain chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, who interfere with electronic medical records. Disease enrollment connects all members of the patient's medical team and provides important evidence to physicians and patients. Diabetes registration enables timely identification of high-risk subpopulations that enable healthcare providers to receive intensive care. Diabetes is a data-driven illness that can be performed using the Diabetes Registration. Diabetes enrollment has contributed to improved patient safety, quality and outcome parameters.
