My business' starter website needs to grow up a little
The site was completely homemade when I started my business last year. While it's visually striking, the way it was constructed makes it invisible to search engines. Likewise my webmaster has exhausted his technical know-how as well as does not have time to master the technological tricks that will take my website out of infancy and into adolescence.
I want an expert's help with two projects that will improve my website-
1) use Optimize Press or Leadpages.net to add an email sign-up page to my site and link it with my email client (I'm using Emma).
2) Create a blog on Wordpress that matches my website as well as links to my site.
Bonus: I could use advice as well as possibly help to give me a little leg-up on SEO. I know that Google has made meta tags mostly worthless however my site is basically invisible to search engines. Is there something I can without totally re-building my site?
