- Some questions are worth more points than others.
- Read each selection. Answer the questions. Move to the next selection, answer more questions, and so on.
- Upon completion, the computer will grade the test, and indicate which answers were incorrect.
- If the time allowed expires the computer will close and grade the test automatically.
- Most students finish this test with time remaining. It is designed that way. Do not be alarmed if you complete the test with time remaining.
NOTE: Scientific research indicates the most effective way to measure Reading Comprehension is a timed multiple-choice test using readings containing familiar words but unfamiliar topics, together with familiar readings containing opposing conclusions. There is no scientific evidence indicating that if more time is allowed the test would be more effective.
