Problem:
One's upbringing creates the basis for what is significant and should be valued. The morals and ethics of the family and community are instilled during one's upbringing. If you are raised to understand the environment is to be appreciated, respected and protected vs. it having no value of its own except to meet the needs of people. Your response to environmental issues will reflect those beliefs. As one raised to pick up trash wherever I saw it and sweep the gutter after trash removal, I have grown into a person who always recycles and fights against pollutants of all kinds. Explain.
