Microprocessors:
We have learnt 8085 family of microprocessors. Initially, we understand basic components of a computer, 8085 microprocessor architecture and assembly language programming. Then we understand microprocessor I/O and LSI Counters. Specifically we have discussed regarding 8255 PPI and 8253 PIT. ADC and DAC are discussed for and analog and digital interfacing. For serial data communications we have learnt the RS232C standards. Then 2051 Microcontroller is studied to understand the concepts of Microcontroller and how to program them. At last recent trends in microprocessor technology such as 8086, 80286, 80386 and Digital Signal Processors have been investigated.
