I want to identify six variables that affect my stock (Oracle:ORCL) both on the micro-level and macro-level. The variables have to be explained (why I chose them). I have identified a few with the help of a TA but a need a few more variables with an explanation. I am going to use these variables to run a regression.
Macro
Monetary Policy – Interest Rates
S&P 500 (is this a good macro indicator? It does represent the overall economy)
Micro
EPS (is this a good micro indicator?)
I want one more macro variable. I was thinking about oil prices, but please let me know. I really need help with the micro variables (need two more); I need a good explanation for them as well.
