Aim - To assess the students' skill in portfolio analysis & Portfolio Strategy formulation for the existing organisation based on Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix Method.

Learning Outcomes After completion of this course, the students will be able to:
• Evaluate marketing strategies which are applicable to construction and property organizations.
• Analyse a range of business and societal situations and evaluate alternative solutions.

Task(s)

Choose an organisation operating in Sultanate of Oman with minimum four Strategic Business Unit (SBU) or four different business organisations. Analyse each SBU/business organisation using BCG matrix method and based on its position in BCG Matrix, develop portfolio strategy for each SBU/business organisation, specific to present market condition in Oman and internal environmental condition in the organisation.

Note: Each student should choose different Business Organisations.
