ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

This assignment requires you to choose a project and create a project management plan following the provided project management plan template. Please use the project management plan template you used in the Discussion Board activity. However, please make sure you cover all the topics in the marking rubric. You will need to refer to project management tools and techniques provided in the textbook to develop project management plan.

Instruction:

1. Introduction:
- Write an executive summary of your approved projects, its objective and the project organization structure

2. Scope management plan:
- Create a scope management plan that documents how the project scopes are defined, delivered and validated. You will need to define the project scope by deliverables, create the WBS to deliver the scope and identify the requirements to verify them.

3. Schedule management plan:

- Create a schedule management plan that documents how the project schedule is planned and developed. In planning process, you will need to define the activities and milestones, and the relationships between activities. Based on this data, you will need to develop the schedule using any available software.

4. Cost management plan:
- Create a cost management plan that documents how the project budget is planned. You will need to estimation of project budget and develop a cost baseline to manage and control project costs.

5. Quality management plan:
- Create a quality management plan that documents how the quality is planned. You will need to identify the quality requirements and/or standards for the project's deliverables

6. Human resource management plan:
- Create a human resource management plan that documents how the human resources plan are developed. You will need to identify, staff human resources for the project and develop a HR calendar to manage & control human resources.

7. Communication management plan:
- Create a communication plan that identifies and documents the approach to communicate most effectively and efficiently with stakeholders. You will need to develop communications models which represent your approach to communicate with stakeholders.

8. Risk management plan:
- Create a risk management plan that identifies and document the risk management activities for the project. You will need to create a risk register to identify all potential risks and plan appropriate risk response for each risk and conduct risk analysis to evaluate the chance and impact of risks.

9. Procurement management plan:
- Create a procurement management plan that identifies and document the project procurement decisions, specifying the approach and identifying potential sellers. You will need to create a procurement table to present and provide detail of all procurement decisions in the process and a source selection criterion to identify potential sellers.

10. Stakeholder management plan:

- Create a stakeholder management plan that identifies the project's stakeholders and documents the plans to engage the stakeholders. You will need to do stakeholder analysis to identify the stakeholders, their impact, interest, needs and requirements. Then you will classify the stakeholders using the Power/Interest grid and develop a plan to engage each group of stakeholders.
