What are the methods of analysis of trusses? What is found when the analysis of a system is done?
Sol.:
The forces in the members of the frame can be determined by the condition that every joint should be in equilibrium. And the force which is acting at every joint should form system in equilibrium. A frame is analyzed by the methods given below,
1. Method of joint.
2. Method of section.
3. Graphical method.
When the analysis is done, we are calculating the forces acting at each joint by which we can predict the nature of force acting at link after solving the equation of equilibrium.
