Problem: Assume you are employed by a company that makes a type of simple chair. MRP is to be the method of inventory planning for the chair.
1) Draw a bill of materials structure for the chair. Briefly explain or sketch the type of chair.
2) Develop an 8 to 10 week MPS for the chair
3) Develop MRPs for 3 or 4 of the chair?s components, with the following restrictions:
(A) Include Level 1 and level 2 components (e.g. a chair arm might be level 1 and the raw material for making it level 2)
(B) Make your own assumptions about lead times, order quantity
