The  coefficient  of concurrent  deviation or coefficient  of correlation  b the concurrent deviation  methods  is given  by the formula.

R c= ±  √± (2C-K)/K

Where rc = coefficient of concurrent deviation

C= number of concurrent deviations

K= number of pairs of deviation compared =N-1

N= number of pairs of observations.
