Method for Enactment of Laws:

Whether the procedure to be followed in Parliament in order to enact Law is governed through Constitution and Orders 94-125 of National Assembly Standing Orders just like amended up to and cncluding 22nd July, 1983.

However a Private Member and a Governments' Bill obey the same procedure pursuant to give Order 116 except as otherwise offers in Part XVI of the Orders, so the Standing Orders relating to Public Bills shall concern in respect of Private Bills.  The exceptions provided to briefly, here are that before a Private Bill can be introduced:; as

(i)     There the promoters thereof must have presented to the House a copy of the Bill annexed for a petition to leave of the House to proceed by publication of the Bill;

(ii)   And the promoters must have deposited regards the Clerk to National Assembly a sufficient number of copies of the petition along with the Bill annexed, to distribution to the members; and

(iii)  Last is the petition must have been read at the first sitting of the House after its deposit and the question like "That the promoters be granted leave to proceed" which must have been put forthwith and decided without debate or amendment.
