The electrolysis of molten lithium hydride (LiH) using inert electrodes produces metallic lithium and gaseous hydrogen. Lithium is produced at the (anode, cathode) which is the (negative, positive) electrode. Electrons ?ow through the wire from the (anode, cathode) to the other electrode.
