Melting point of a mixture a b was measured to be higher

Question 1- Melting point of a mixture A + B was measured to be higher than any of the melting points of pure individual components A and B. When this might be the case? (A possibility of an experimental error was excluded)?

Question 2- Is it possible for a binary mixture (two components A and B) to have none or more than one eutectic point? If yes - provide the examples.
