Medium sized marketing company


Organization X is a medium sized marketing company that has been around for approximately 20 years. It started off as a family company but has grown to where it now has over 600 employees. The original founder was a traditional businessman and had a "clan culture" in the organization, where employees considered themselves family and part of the company. The clients were also considered family and almost everyone knew each other on a first name basis.

The original founder passed away and his son is now the CEO. However, Organization X is facing competition from larger or more modern organizations. The new CEO wants to remain true to his father's values, but he also wants to provide some mechanisms that will allow the organization to change in order to face the competition.
