Kick Starting
A kick lever is used to crank the engine. When we crank the engine, the air-fuel mixer is sucked into the engine and pressure builds inside the cylinder and at the same time, a spark is ignited that leads to combustion in the cylinder. This process makes the engine to run.
Self-Starting
In a self-starting engine, a motor is used to crank an engine and human effort in cranking is minimal. The motor is powered by a battery.
