The interpretive phenomenological design effectively captured the emotional experiences of both mothers and fathers, highlighting differences in coping, pregnancy planning, and expectations of healthcare providers. Although limited by its small sample size and single-site recruitment, the study offers credible evidence that individualized bereavement care, specialized follow-up, and clear communication are essential components of family-centered nursing practice. The findings have important implications for improving nursing care, enhancing bereavement education, and guiding future research aimed at supporting parents during subsequent pregnancies after stillbirth.
