MB Enterprise Systems Ltd based in Mauritius is a company specialized in application development with Europe as the main customer base. The company has implemented CMMI and has recently been certified at level 2 by a Lead Appraiser through the SEI appraisal program. Following the economic crisis in Europe, the management of the company had decided to diversify to the US market with the recent opening of a subsidiary firm in the US. a) You have been approached to research existing US regulations and adopt an appropriate model alongside the existing model since the company wants to standardize its processes around the world. You are also required to explain how the chosen framework will align to the model currently in place in the organization.
b) The IT Director suggested the idea to replace CMMI by the new model being chosen. You have the task to sustain why CMMI should not be replaced. Elaborate on these reasons.
