I have to write a paper about marriage ritual in Brazil because I want to compare USA and Brazil weddings for my anthropology class. Please see requirements below:
You are required to write a paper (10-12 double-spaced pages) that is based on both library research and fieldwork conducted on the topic selected. This means I am expecting a minimum of 3 scholarly researches about your topic in the bibliography, as well as, an ethnography of at least one South Florida’s religious or spiritual community which you don’t belong to.
The paper could be focused on a comparison of one or more religious performances, beliefs, or rituals. For example, you may decide to compare the religious performance, belief, or ritual you attended to with your own. If so, only one of the two that you choose can be familiar to you. You can include interviews and photos with the proper permission.
