The essay style must be persuasive.
Your essay should be about 750 to 1500 words (not including graphs, endnotes and references) in length. You should have at leas t three references (APA style) at the end.
Argue strongly in favor or against the statement. Make sure you have the Proposition number (the serial numbers below) and say whether you are for or against the proposition in your title (Example: “Essay Against Proposition X.”)
Economists tell us that trade restriction is a bad thing. Not so. Look at the histories of Japan and South Korea. These countries actually protected their markets and industries with strong government actions. Trade protection worked in thos e countries. We need to know what to protect and what not to protect.
