Many have outlined the importance of sukuk to be traded in the secondary market. Secondary market in the Islamic finance space are more often than not an unpopular subject for market constituents. Therefore, numerous initiatives have been carried out by countries in ramping up activity in their respective Islamic secondary markets. And yet, there is still a sluggish secondary sukuk market in Islamic financial system. Nevertheless, the demand for the sukuk in the secondary market is not yet promising.
