Managing a project without governance can be challenging

Managing a project without governance can be challenging. Think back to a project with which you were involved, either in the work place or at school. Was the leader effective? What steps did he/she take that helped him/her to be effective and help the project succeed? Were there any skills discussed in this unit that the project manager did not have? As a project manager, would you prefer to work in a Program Management Office (PMO) environment? Why or why not? Please share your thoughts on this. Utilize and cite at least one scholarly resource in your response.
