Making large payments and bribes to foreign governments

Assignment:

Choose a country - any country - other than the United States. Your work in the marketing department of a company that has recently decided to sell its products in the country you have chosen, and your manager (that would be me) has asked you to do a little internet research to determine some of the problems or issues you might face in selling your products in that country. Based on your research, write me a short memo discussing at least three marketing issues we should consider that are different in that country when compared to the U.S. These differences can be based on sociocultural forces, economic forces, legal/policitial/regulatory forces, or ethical forces. For example, in Mexico it is common and even expected to offer bribes to local officials, but the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in the United States prohibits making large payments or bribes to foreign governments to influence their decisions. So we may have a problem when we are negotiating to buy a warehouse for our products and the local officials expect a payment (or bribe) to allow us to purchase the property that we need.

Your answer must be typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), one-inch margins on all sides, APA format and also include references.
