Do we need to evaluate this increased security in contrast to privacy rights? In order to maintain security we have to follow the rules that that are put in place. That being said, what rules must authorities follow in terms of putting surveillance upon us? For example, are the constitutional rules bigger than what the employers want to do in their place of work? How do we determine what set of rules determines whether or not surveillance is ethical? Should employers' rules be considered bigger than the rules of the U.S. Constitution? Should the rules of the U.S. Constitution be applied to the private sector?
