A model rocket engine consists of an average thrust of around 5.26 N. It consists of an initial mass of around 24.9 g, which comprises fuel mass of around 12.0 g. The duration of its burn is 1.90 s. (Suppose that all the fuel is consumed.)

(i) Determine the average exhaust speed of the engine?

(ii) This engine is positioned in a rocket body of mass 70 g. Determine the magnitude of the final velocity of the rocket when it were to be fired from rest in outer space through an astronaut on a spacewalk? Suppose the fuel burns at a constant rate.
