Magnitude-direction of the cars acceleration

A car having a mass of 2000 kg is travelling at 50 m/s on a perfectly straight level road at a latitude of 60° N.

i) When the car is travelling south, determine the magnitude and direction of the Coriolis force. Sketch a diagram of the earth, representing the position and velocity of the car, and the Coriolis force vector.

ii) Repeat if the car is travelling west.

iii) Determine the magnitude and direction of the car’s acceleration (relative to the road), for each case above, when the car encounters a stretch of frictionless icy (horizontal) road.
