We determine the magnetic field close to a current-carrying wire that expands a long distance, both above and beneath the level of the measurement. Then we eliminate the bottom part of the wire (the part below the level of measurement). What occurs to the magnitude of the magnetic field at the point of measurement?

i) It is twice.

ii) It is halved.

iii) It remains similar.
