loudspeakers using single driver are unable to

Loudspeakers using single driver are unable to cover the entire frequency band from low frequency to high frequency. Sometimes multiband frequency is required for the bass enhancement or to split the signals that are adjusted for echoing, equalizing etc. and then are mixed again. These facilities are available in crossover circuits as they use multiple drivers. In these circuits, audio signals can be split accordingly at desired frequency limit and then can be used differently for woofers and tweeters. In this section, the research on the designing of the crossover circuit is carried out by selecting the filters and the components used in it.
