Assignment task: You are to locate at least. 5-8 research articles on your chosen psychological topic. You are to write a 2-3 page summary of the articles detailing how the sources you choose pertain to you topic and what the overall conclusions in science are at this point. The best way to do this is to group the articles into themes/categories based on some commonality between them. This can be done based on the conclusions they draw (maybe some confirm the relationship and others don't), or on how they studied your topic (techniques, methods, subjects, etc.). It should not be written as a straight summary of paper 1, then paper 2 and so forth.
A reference sheet listing the articles should also be included as well as a title page (these do not count toward your page limit). This summary should serve as the background/foundation for your research proposal, due at the end of the semester. The typed assignment should adhere to APA format and include proper citations.
