Locate an RFP from the Internet and critique it.
For example, does the RFP cover all the elements mentioned below.
- General issues
- Description of the organization seeking to acquire the IT system or service
- List of questions regarding the IT system or service
- List of questions regarding the vendor
and, if not, which elements were missing and was that OK? Also, put yourself in the shoes of a potential vendor and qualify the potential business, i.e., assess whether the RFP gives you sufficient information to determine whether your product or service meets the need of the organization issuing the RFP.
