The term of this research involves research on literary movements and periods in American Literature after 1865 that relate to the readings from the semester. The development should begin with the origins of the movement, then discuss in detail the major themes, works, and writers of the movement, and end with a discussion if the movement is still influential in the 21st century in art, culture, film, literature,etc. Please cite sources for the development of content. Use PBSC’s electronic databases for literature,i.e.JStor,Academic Search Complete,.edu website, books, etc., to find 2 or more sources that analyze a literary movement in America after 1865. Avoid Cliff Notes or Sparknotes, Wikipedia, About.com, eHow, Suite 101.com, Associated content, Helium and so on, basically almost all.com’s.
