Literary Analysis Paper Phase One - Thesis Statement
Your thesis statement needs to be the controlling idea of your paper. You will make a claim about the topic selected which is
exemplified in a work of literature (primary source) you have read during high school. You will support your thesis through the
use of articles or books (secondary sources) and the identification of literary elements or techniques employed by the author.
Therefore, you need to develop a thesis statement that you will be able to prove as well as one that is interesting and does not
simply restate a work's plot.
