Part 1: Identify and list four of the OSHA CFR 1910 standards that would apply to all industries (i.e., horizontal standards), and then briefly identify each standard's purpose. In addition, outline/summarize the basic requirements for one standard enacted after 1984.
Part 2: There are two types of OSHA standards: specification standards and performance standards. Identify at least two specification standards and two performance standards, and explain the purpose of each standard and why they are identified as either a specification or performance standard.
