Precious moves in January of 2017 pays rent directly to Bahama Beach Apartment for two months. Bahama Beach Apartment sues Oliva for the amount due. 6. Julian hired Bob the contractor to install wood floors in his home. They agreed upon the cost of $4500 that Julian would pay Bob for the installation. Bob installed the wood floors however, within a couple of days the floor began to buckle. It was determined that Bob did not put in the sub-floor which was required to stabilize the floors. Julian refused to pay Bob. Bob sued for his money stating the substantial performance rule. Using IRAC what would be the outcome.

8. Stevie Wonder was hired to record for XYX Recording Company. Stevie and the producer for XYZ had a difference in opinion and Stevie refused to record with XYZ. Stevie decided that he would record his song with Blue Label Recording Company. XYZ sued Stevie and requested that the court enjoin him from recording with Blue Label. 9. Jorge hired Lucy Winn to play the piano at his daughter's wedding. Lucy agreed to play for the wedding and the reception for one flat fee. Lucy did not show up for the wedding or the reception. Jorge sued Lucy for breach of contact. Using IRAC, what would be the outcome?
10. Jim rented an apartment from Bahama Beach Apartment. In the contract, it stated that the rent was due on the 1st of the month and there would be a $15 late fee for rent paid after the 5th of the month. Jim paid June's rent on the 10th of the month. Bahama Beach Apartment did not charge him the later fee. When Jim was late in October, Bahama Beach charged him the late fee. Jim objected to the late fee and stated that the apartment complex had waived the late fees when he did not pay in June. Using IRAC determine whether the apartment complex waived all future late fees.
