Linear correlation between the heights of mothers

The heights (in inches) of a sample of eight mother/daughter pairs of subjects were measured. Using Excel with the paired mother/daughter heights, the linear correlation coefficient is found to be 0.693 (based on data from the National Health Examination Survey). Is there sufficient evidence to support the claim that there is a linear correlation between the heights of the mothers and the heights of their daughters? Explain.
