Lesson 5 Assignment: Memo Response to a Case Study Read and analyze the case study discussing the collapse at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (beginning on page 93). Once familiar with the case study, write a memo to me, the instructor, explaining the relationship between ethics and technical writing as it is manifest in the case study. The memo should address how those involved in this construction of the hotel might have prevented the disaster described in the case study as well as how they may have acted more ethically by way of their technical documentation. Of course, you may also argue those involved in the construction did act ethically as long as you explain this conclusion in the memo. This memo should be at least one full page in length and use effective headings. If you use additional material, cite your courses using MLA format.
